Virginia Hastings - President
Videographer, editor and owner of Starshine Video Productions, Virginia will be celebrating the company's 10th anniversary all year long. Born with an inclination towards adventure and an unheard-of lust for life, Virginia specializes in filming documentaries, weddings and corporate videos where she coaxes out and captures the essence of each new subject.
AJ Specht - Creative Assistant
A.J. has enjoyed a vast array of experiences since graduating University of Guelph's
Studio Art program in 2006. The past few years have seen her developing her passion for languages working with Red Leaf camps in Spain; the completion of Jolo's Two Bedrooms, her first publication as a Children's Book Illustrator; and perhaps the steepest learning curve yet: owning and operating a national marketing franchise location in Muskoka.
Graeme Powell, Videographer & Editor

Graeme Powell is a graduate of Queen's Film Studies program and has been shooting and editing wedding videos for the past five years. He operates his own production company, Fern Hill Productions, that services the GTA and beyond. Some of his work has been screened at the Planet-in-Focus Environmental Film Festival, the Niagara Indie Film Festival and the Silver Wave Film Festival. Graeme is also an actor and president of the Borelians Community Theatre in Port Perry, and he is a founding member of the John Crocker Student Film Festival for high school students in Durham Region.
Melissa Paiuk, Videographer
A graduate of Ryerson University's Film Studies program, Melissa brings her sharp edge, eye for perfection, and outside the box thinking to everything that she creates; including capturing all of the special moments of your wedding day.
Currently the head of Technology Studies at Emily Carr Secondary School in York Region, Melissa inspires and teaches her students in communications technology; including TV, video, and movie production, radio and audio production, print and graphic communications, photography, digital imaging, broadcast journalism, and interactive media.
Melissa has been shooting and editing weddings for over 10 years.
Ben Carlin, Animations, Graphics

Adrian Ellis, Musician
Adrian is a multi-instrumentalist who grew up in Germany and Canada, and has studied classical guitar and fine art in both countries. He now resides in Toronto, where he composes music for award winning films, tv, multimedia, and theatre. Most recently, he composed the theme and music package for CTV/Discovery Canada’s “Daily Planet” and scored the popular webseries, “Out With Dad”. An active producer, musician, and arranger, he appears on numerous recordings and in live performances. Also busy in media music community, he has developed and moderated panels for the Screen Composers Guild of Canada and served as a jury member for the Gemini Awards. When not making music, you can find Adrian writing his blog “The Music Creative”, and teaching kids Karate.

Paul Glover, Musician
Paul Glover is resident of New England having lived in Massachusetts and currently New Hampshire. After attending college in Western Massachusetts where he studied Classical Piano Performance, he joined the Boston Club Music scene performing in multiple Original Rock Bands. He decided to take a sabbatical from music to raise his family. Now that they are grown, Paul has decided to return to his first passion of writing music. He writes in multiple genres but specializes in Pop, Orchestral, New Age, Jazz, Cinematic, and Film. Paul is actively composing for Music Libraries who distribute to Music Supervisors in TV and Film.
Deni Gauthier, Musician
A true artist, Deni has been creating music as a profession for quite some time. Never heard of him? Thats OK, maybe this will be your little secret now, or maybe you’ll want to tell a few people about this unique, good feeling, rootsy music from the heart of an extraordinary songwriter.
Either way, you’ll like it because it’ll make you smile.

Darren Moore, Musician
A native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Darren began studying and performing the saxophone, as well as the piano a
nd flute, at an early age. After earning a Bachelor of Music degree from Dalhousie University, Darren ventured to New York City where he immediately embodied its energy, playing regularly in Greenwich Village jazz clubs, working at Manhattan's renowned "Uniques Studios", appearing in a Macy Gray video for Pepsi, and studying film scoring at NYU.
Upon returning to Canada in late 2001, Darren toured nationwide as a multi-instrumentalist with Canadian headliners Bruce Guthro and Leahy. Darren now calls Toronto home, where he keeps a busy performance schedule and works in music education and therapy. Catch Darren jazz it up with Toronto favourites like "Swing Noir" and "Snooky Tynes and The Soul Express".
Casey, Resident Pooch
Resident Pooch, giver of many kisses, and best friend. Casey and Virginia love the trees and the water, and Casey is a great reminder to Virginia to make sure that she builds several walks into her day, and stops to
smell the roses.
